Graphic Recording of the KRITIS-Dialog kick-off event

Two years after the devastating flood event in July 2021, the KRITIS-Dialog project officially started with a kick-off event on April 17. The goal of the project is to start the journey towards a "Resilient Region" via a risk dialogue focusing on critical infrastructure. On April 17, 2023, the numerous network partners from the administration, the service providers of critical infrastructures such as electricity, gas, telecommunications and streets, the BBK as an advisory instance as well as the regional planning for the planning area of Aachen and the district government of Cologne met to develop initial goals and visions for the project in a collaborative workshop. In addition, potential risks and barriers were identified and discussed. It was explicitly emphasized that the participants want to exchange ideas with and among each other and are willing to engage in a dialogue towards a "Resilient Region".
